Twitter Thread: Woman Gets Rejected From Cat-Sitting For Being 'Underqualified'

Have you ever gone through such a ridiculous experience, you yourself barely believed it when recalling it? Let us tell you, we have. And we have also seen some of these stories first-hand. So insane, they're hard to believe. Like when a twitter user accidentally forgot her sugar glider in her bra on the way to a doctor's visit, or when another twitter user got chased by a cow on Valentines day, or when a twitter thread about a raccoon and her babies falling through a roof into someone's house went viral. Some things happen with animals that are just… insane. 

But the most ridiculous thing that we have seen this year so far is the following twitter thread. It's about a person who got rejected from catsitting… because there was another applicant who was better qualified - a marine biologist. And the letter of rejection is something else, we swear, smh.

    Now, to be quite honest, we have had some weird job interviews before, and therefore, some weird rejection letters from employers. But… to be told that you are underqualified to catsit… yeah, that is a new one for us. And clearly, it is a new one for you too.

    Is it petty for us to want this marine biologist to be a terrible catsitter who will let the cat destroy everything it wants and sleep right on top of the egg carton until they're all smooshed? We can only imagine the apology letter they'll give you, begging for you to come back and save them. It would be worth it just for that.
